The annual treatment of the neighborhood emerald ash trees was completed in March. Please check the web site below for tips on how to spot this pest. Notify us immediately if you see an infestation.

Damaged Mailboxes
Thanks to those residents that have replaced their damaged mailboxes. When driving through a neighborhood, the condition of the mailboxes is something that people first notice. This has an effect on their overall impression of that neighborhood. You may have seen the difference in the look of Willow Lakes East following their mailbox replacement program. Please check your mailbox for any needed repair or replacement. Mailbox suppliers can be found here. |
Raised Sidewalks
Thanks to those residents that responded to our letter regarding raised sidewalks.
At the annual meeting is was decided that there will be a person or persons assigned to review all of the problem areas. They will work with individual homeowners and contractors to determine the best and most economical approach to repair.
Please take a look at your sidewalk to determine if there are any raised sections. There are a few in the neighborhood that could cause a serious accident to occur.
Commercial Signs Not Allowed
Please refer to the Brockton Manor Covenants, Article X, Section 3 for information about the restriction on placing signs in your yard advertising commercial businesses. This includes contractors doing work on your property.
School Spirit signs are allowed, after approval of the Sign Request Form available here.
Emerald Ash Borer
You have heard a lot about the destructive pest known as the Emerald Ash Borer. Emerald ash trees line our neighborhood streets.
It has been reported that damage from the borer has been seen not far from Brockton Manor.
As you know, the neighborhood trees have been treated the last few years and we hope that will keep the pest at bay.
Visit Stop The Beetle for information on how to identify this pest.
Please inspect your trees and, if you suspect they are infested, call Craig Fortner at 893-2412. He is the board representative in charge of landscaping issues.
Lake Treatment
If you are treating the lakes yourself or have contracted to have it done, please email the board at brockonmanor@yahoo.com.
As you know, we contract for lake treatment and we want to be sure to coordinate the application of any chemicals. The Federal Clean Water Act stipulates how and when chemicals can be used. We will advise you later on the specifics.

Overnight Parking On the Streets Is Not Allowed
